<p>1. A device for embossing a foil, comprising a pair of embossing rollers with pyramid-shaped projections and recesses respectively between which the foil may be passed through, characterized in that both rollers (1, 2) of the pair are equipped with exactly similar hardened pyramid-shaped teeth (3), such teeth having a height of 0,25 to 0,3 mm and engaging into each other by 0,15 to 0,20 mm if the mutual distance between teeth is about 0,4 mm, in order to emboss the foils and to synchronize the rotation of both rollers (1, 2), whereby one roller only is driven whereas the other is carried along synchronously.</p> |
