<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the improvement and working of carrier efficiency, by providing a branch whose rear surface part is formed of ferromagnetic material in a device to convey small articles such as slips, documents, etc., indoors. CONSTITUTION:When a carrier car 3 gets into a branch 16, a stator 8c is energized so that the thrust will be generated in the same direction of the arrow as in the direction of travel of the carrier car 3 in case no branching is necessary. By energizing stators 8d and 8e so as to generate the thrust in the direction of an arrow (rightwards against the direction of travel), the carrier car 3 selects a guide rail in rectilinear propagational direction. In case the branch is necessary, the stator 8c is energized so that the speed of the carrier car 3 should be of specified speed when it gets into the branch 16. By energizing the stator 8d and 8e so as to generate the thrust in the direction of the arrow, a magnetic guide unit 12 is led to the branching direction along the guide rail.</p> |
