PURPOSE:To make it possible to adjust the direction of a drain pipe to a desired angle according to each operating condition of an engine by forming the drain pipe in a body with a ring rotatably fitted in a cylindrical body formed in the lower tank of a radiator. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 4 protruding outward from the side wall of a lower tank 2 of a radiator is formed, and a draining passage 5 having a narrow inlet 12 communicating with the inner part of said tank 2 is formed inside said cylindrical body 4. Said cylindrical body 4 is fitted with a drain plug 7 having a seling member 11 fixed near the tip of a cylindrical core 8, and formed with a slit 13 whose lower half is cut open ranging over about 180 deg. in a circumferential direction on its middle, and said passage 5 is opened into said slit 13. In addition to that, the inner wall of an upper half of said passage 5 is formed with a circumferential groove 14 ranging over about 180 deg. at the position of said slit 13 to rotatably fit a ring 15 therein, and a drain pipe 6 protruding downward through said slit 13 is formed in a body with said ring 15. |
