PURPOSE:To increase the adsorption volume of saccharide from waste liquor, etc., a mixed system of an organic solvent and a saccharide, by preremoving a monosaccharide range of a saccharide component in a solvent and bringing the solvent into contact with a strongly basic anion exchange resin of OH type. CONSTITUTION:A monosaccharide range of a saccharide component in a solvent containing saccharide is preremoved and the solvent is brought into contact with a strongly basic anion exchange resin of OH type to remove other saccharide component. By the removal of the monosaccharide, desirably the ratio of the monosaccharide/total saccharides in the solvent is <=1wt%, preferably <=0.5wt%. As the solvent containing saccharide may be cited waste liquor which was used for eluting and separating saccharide adsorbed on a column, such as an aqueous solution of an alcohol, e.g. ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, etc., containing various kinds of oligosaccharide discharged in separation of saccharides having >=3 polymerization degree from a mixed solution of saccharide. |
