<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an index showing the effects of order changes of the grammatical rules by using a device which decides the assurance degree of an output translated sentence from the assurance degree given to a grammatical rule and therefore obtaining a key to select the correct one out of plural interpretations. CONSTITUTION:A sentence to be translated is supplied through an input device 11 and an analyzing device 12 performs the analyses of morphemes and the syntax structure to the input sentence for transformation into an intermediate structure. This intermediate structure is converted into that of an object language by a generating device 13. Then a translated sentence is produced. In such a case, the assurance degrees are previously given to the grammatical rules which are used by the devices 12 and 13. An assurance degree deciding device 15 calculates the mean degree of assurance of those applied rules. The obtained translated sentence and its assurance degree are outputted to an output device 14.</p> |
