PURPOSE:To effectively control a virtual computer system with no correction of an operating system OS by producing an inter-processor communication instruction to make a virtual computer monitor produce a processor interruption as long as a fixed period of time or more elapses when the control is shifted to the OS. CONSTITUTION:When each process shifts the control to an OS3, the OS3 decides whether a virtual computer monitor VMM execution mode display part 61 is set at 1 or not. If so, the present time point is compared with the contents of a VMM inter-processor communication time point display part 63 to decide whether a fixed period or more has elapsed or not. If so, an inter-processor communication instruction is produced to a CPU processor having its number equal to that set at a VMM executing CPU processor number setting part 62. Thus said CPU processor produces a processor interruption and the present time point is set at the part 63. Then the normal processing of the OS3 is carried out. |
