PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery module excellent in insulation withstand voltage reliability and/or mechanical reliability. SOLUTION: A solar battery 1 and a retaining member 21 retaining the solar battery 1 are installed. The retaining member 21 has a metal part, and a spacer 31 is contained between the solar battery 1 and the metal part of the retaining member 21. The spacer 31 whose thermal conductivity is at most 10<-3> W/cm. deg.C acts as a thermal insulating material and/or the spacer 31 whose resistivity is at least 10<12> Ω.cm acts as an insulating material. The shape of the spacer 31 is maintained in an operating state of the solar battery 1. |
