The padlock described comprises a body (1) in which is arranged a lock (8), and parts connected to the body (1) which can be fixed to windows or doors. The invention is characterized in that the body (1) is of a geometrical shape, advantageously an oblong block, and the lateral surface or surfaces (2, 3) of the body (1) rest directly or indirectly and without any play or with minimum play (gap), on the parts of the window or door which are to be fixed to one another. The locking bolt or bolts (4, 5) provided with a head and projecting from the lateral surface or surfaces (2, 3) of the body (1) of the padlock are arranged in openings (17) appropriately designed on or in the window or door parts to be fixed to one another, and which receive the heads (6) of the bolts (4, 5) to allow their fixing by rotation or moving the body of the padlock (1) and/or of said bolts (4, 5). |
