In the course of maintenance work on roads, surface damage is conventionally covered by small-area, locally produced patches of so-called surface dressings (surface coatings). According to the invention, the disadvantages of this method with regard to traffic safety, work safety, technical quality and economy are avoided in that prefabricated patches produced in stationary fabrication are employed.
