PURPOSE:To improve the quality of printed matter by providing a means to stabilize printing paper which stretches the paper in close contact with the means and a reject paper detection unit with a sensor to detect the printing density of printing paper between a printing unit and a paper rejector device. CONSTITUTION:A reject paper detection unit 30 is provided between a final printing unit 3 and a paper rejector device 4, and the reject paper detection unit 30 is equipped with a frame 31 for the printing unit 3, and right/left frames 32 which connect a paper ejector frame 16. On this frame 32, an enlarged diameter jumper barrel 33 is axially supported as a transport means which concurrently works as a printing paper stabilization means. Above the enlarged diameter jumper barrel 33, a sensor 35 is arranged to detect the printing density value of each pixel, identify the difference between a reference image and the printing density value of each pixel and transmit a signal, if there is such a difference. The signal is transmitted to, e.g. the paper ejector device 4 through a timer, and the rejected paper is ejected to a different channel from that above a paper stacker 20 when it arrives at a pinching releasing part of the paper ejector device 4. |
