PURPOSE:To miniaturize an auto focus use optical system, and to use an image sensor in which the number of picture elements is small, by leading a partial projecting light being eccentric from an image center axis, to said image sensor, and allowing a focus controlling optical system to be freely turnable around the image center axis. CONSTITUTION:A focus controlling optical system 50 is provided with a semitransparent mirror 52 which has been placed on an image center axis (x), and a second projection lens 54, and leads a partial projecting light to a CCD line sensor 56 being an image sensor. The second projection lens 54 leads only a partial projecting light being eccentric from the image center axis (x) of an image projecting light, to the line sensor 56. Also, these second projection lens 54 and line sensor 56 are formed as one body with a frame, and can turn centering around the image center axis (x) by a servo-motor 58. In this way, as for the focus controlling optical system, that which leads only a partial area of an image to the image sensor will suffice, and this optical system and the image sensor can be miniaturized. |
