PURPOSE:To inhibit reduction in the sharpness of an image even when a reflecting support used has low transmission density, by regulating the transmission density of the reflecting support to <=0.8 and forming an antihalation layer at a position closer to the support than the position of a silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The transmission density of a reflecting support is regulated to <=0.8 and an antihalation layer is formed at a position closer to the support than the position of a silver halide emulsion layer. Any reflecting support having <=0.8 transmission density may be used as the reflecting support and superior water resistance is preferably provided to the surface. The antihalation layer absorbs light passed through the silver halide emulsion layer and prevents halation. Since the antihalation layer is closer to the reflecting support, light passed through the silver halide emulsion layer is reflected by the support but can not enter the emulsion layer again, so the sharpness of an image can be improved. |
