Electro-hydraulic control for an automatic transmission (1) with two transmission input shafts (11, 12), the first (11) being connected to the turbine (181) of a hydrodynamic unit (18) and the second (12) directly to the output shaft (21) of the engine (2). The drive power is introduced singly as a function of the gear or also with torque division into the reduced planetary transmission (14). The automatic transmission can be adjusted by means of a selector slide (3), at least for the neutral position (N) and the forwards (D) and reverse travel (R). Solenoid valves (5), held in the zero position by spring force, are actuated by way of an electronic control module (4). A pressure medium source (6) supplies pressure and shift valves and dampers for operation of gear shift clutches and brakes (A to E). Between the pressure medium source (6) and the electronic pressure control valve (7) on the one side and the 4-3 switch-back valve (9), a safety valve (8) is also arranged which, in the event of failure of the electrical system, is switched under the action of an electronic pressure control valve (7), so that system pressure continues to be fed to the switch-back valve (9) and the spring chamber (111) of the tension valve (110) is vented. At the same time, the pressure in the line (112) to the clutch (A) is reduced to such an extent that there is no flow of power by way of this clutch. The electronic pressure control valve (7) in normal operation models the reduced control pressure and produces in the ... Original abstract incomplete. <IMAGE>
