In order to align round timber pieces after removal of tops and root ends, those lengths which are located on a transporter (1), and turned in the wrong position are removed, turned, and replaced on the transporter. To ensure an equal engagement of a saw machine, the wrongly positioned pieces are removed sideways from the transporter, and when they are replaced on it after turning they fill gaps left by other pieces removed. |
