PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable paper diaper certainly prevented from slipping down by arranging an elastic stretchable sheet material not only to one's girth but also to one's waist traversing an absorbing material and rapidly absorbing body fluids at the part of the absorbing material to prevent the same from leaking before and behind. SOLUTION: An end part flap F showing flexibility is constituted of a surface sheet 1 and an air permeable back sheet positioned on the side of clothing from a back sheet 2 and an elastic stretchable sheet material 40, which consists of a plurality of narrow elastic stretchable members 41, etc., showing elastic stretchability in the width direction of the disposable paper diaper and integrated in a stretched state so as to leave an interval between surface and rear flexible sheets 22A and 22B in the longitudinal direction of the paper diaper, is interposed between the surface sheet 1 and the back sheet 30 to be arranged so as to straddle the back surface of the absorbing material 3 and the end part flap F to allow the shrink force of the elastic stretchable sheet material 40 to act on the absorbing material 3 and the end part flap F.
