PURPOSE:To reduce resonance sound characteristic to a horn and to reduce the weight of the horn and improve its weatherability, by forming a structure of a high polymer foamed body, and covering the entire surface of this structure with glass-fiber reinforced resin. CONSTITUTION:The horn 2 is coupled atop of the compressing driver 1 of the horn type speaker which generates a sound. This horn 2 is formed of the structure 3 made of foamed resin which is a high polymer foamed body, and the entire surface of this structure 3 including the external surface 4 and intenal surface 5 is covered with the glass-fiber reinforced resin. Thus, the structure 3 is formed of the foamed resin to reduce the weight of the horn 2, and the strength of the coupling member for the driver 1 is reduced. Then, the weight of the horn 2 is reduced and the weatherability is improved to reduce the resonance sound characteristic to an omnidirectional horn. |
