The buckle has a frame (11) with a flat central piece and a pair of opposed legs at opposite sides. The legs (11b,c) have opposed apertures adjacent one end, and outwardly extending detents (20a,b). A resilient U shaped bale (6) has turned in ends which engage the leg apertures to form a pivoted connection. A strap is fixed on the bale and a second strap is fixed on the central piece between tension and release positions with the bale on opposite sides of the detents resp. |
