The slats (8) of a roller blind or shutter have bolts (6) with heads (7) projecting from each end. These bolts run inside U section guide channels (1) made of rigid PVC. The edges of the channel flanges are turned inwards and have longitudinal recesses (5) of semi-circular cross-section. These recesses are covered with curved strips (4) of flexible PVC so that cylindrical chambers are formed. These chambers form buffers for the bolts (6) when they vibrate and so reduce noise.
