The invention relates to a curve-shaped conveyor on which the material is conveyed with the aid of one or several elastic V-belts (1). On the upper side of the curved conveyor, the conveying side, the belts slide each along its own guide strip (2). The guide strip counteracts the weight of the material conveyed and the pressure of the belt directed towards the belt's centre of motion. In applications with one belt, the material conveyed slides over slide rails provided on both sides of the V-belt and the guide strip. In applications with two or several belts, the guide strips (guide sections) are each provided along its own arc of two or several concentric circles. On the underside of the curved conveyor, each belt is driven by its own drive pulley. The pitch circle diameters of the drive pulleys are at the same ratio as the diameters of the concentric circles. As a result, the belts have the same angular velocity at the upper side of the conveyor (conveying side). |
