PURPOSE:To enable the preservation of a fish paste product for a long period without deteriorating its taste and flavor, by sealing the product together with a disoxidation agent in a gas-impermeable packaging container, and heating the sealed product. CONSTITUTION:A fish paste product such as boiled fish paste, bamboo-shaped broiled fish paste, fish sausage, etc. is sealed together with a disoxidation agent (e.g. a sulfite, oxalate, etc.) in a gas-impermeable container (preferably a container made of a packaging material having an oxygen permeability of <=50ml/m<2>. day.atm, e.g. a laminate of polyethylene film and polypropylene film coated with polyvinylidene chloride), and heated preferably at 60-80 deg.C for 6-18hr. |
