This device consists of several exchangeable storage wells in which in each case card-shaped data carriers having the same area dimensions but possibly different thickness can be stored and from which in each case one data carrier can be transferred into an output position common to all storage wells, from which the data carriers can be drawn to be issued directly or to be processed further. To provide for faster issuing of the data carriers whilst retaining a simple design, at least one independently drivable transport belt is arranged underneath each storage well, which transfers the in each case lowermost data carrier in its longitudinal direction into a monitored intermediate position which is arranged above a combining track common to all storage wells, on which the data carrier ejected by the drive of one of the transport belts can be transferred into the issuing position by means of a transversely movable slide. |
