It relates to a cutting box comprising a median sole plate 14, and, projecting from the latter, two lateral walls 15, 15' each notched, facing one another, by a slot 16. According to the invention, the median sole plate 14 further exhibits, projecting between the lateral walls 15, 15', at least one rib 17A, 17B, 17C itself notched by a slot 18 facing the slot 16 of the said lateral walls 15, 15'. Application, particularly, to cutting the U-shaped body of plastic ducts for electrical conductors, such as channels, mouldings or skirting boards. <IMAGE>
