PURPOSE:To improve the friction resistance of a transferred thermally fusible ink layer, by providing emulsified thermally fusible resin having the lowest filming temperature at a specific level or higher in the thermally fusible ink layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermally fusible ink layer contains emulsified thermally fusible resin having the lowest filming temperature of 40 deg.C or higher and said thermally fusible resin is filmed when being heated during transfer. Consequently, the transferred thermally fusible ink layer is hardened by said film. An emulsified styrene-acryl copolymer resin having the lowest filming temperature of 65 deg.C, for example is employed as said thermally fusible resin. Said thermally fusible ink is applied onto one main face of a sheet material 12, and when it is dried at temperature lower than the lowest filming temperature, a thermally fusible ink layer 14 is formed on one main face of the sheet material 12. Consequently, when the thermally fusible ink layer 14 is laminated on an object to be transferred then heated from the other main face side of the sheet material 12, the thermally fusible ink layer 14 can be transferred to the object to be transferred. |
