The face of the plug body has formed on lugs. Each lug is connected to the face by a narrow strip of flexible material, and also has a cylindrical projection part way up on one side. There are slots and recesses in the face, and the lug attachments are located at the bottom of a recess. The assembly is arranged symmetrically. To polarize the plug the lugs are bent over in the desired direction. Each lug fills part of a recess and the cylindrical projection fills the slot into which it snaps. When the lugs are thus bent into position two sections of the recesses remain open, their position being determined by the chosen lug positions. The socket part of the connector has a corresp. pair of projections.
