PURPOSE:To obtain an image-forming device simple in construction, easy to manufacture, easy to adjust and maintain and capable of achieving stable and favorable image formation, by providing a recording paper the activity of which is controlled by exposure to light of a specified wavelength, exposed latent image forming part for forming an exposed latent image on the recording paper, and a recording paper developing part for forming an image. CONSTITUTION:An exposed latent image forming part 11 comprises an image-reading part 16 and a recording paper writing part 17. The image-reading part 16 comprises a light source 13 and a CCD image sensor 15, and reads an image of a manuscript 14 by converting it into a reading signal (d). The recording paper writing part 17 comprises a light source 18 with a specified wavelength and a liquid-crystal photo- switch 19, and the light incident on the photo-switch 19 from the light source 18 is projected on a recording paper 1 is accordance with the reading signal (d), thereby achieving exposure. The recoding paper 1 which is coated with thermal color forming reaction agents and the activity of which is controlled by exposure to light of a specified wavelength is fed from the latent image forming part 11 into a recording paper developing part 12, is uniformly heated, and a color former 3 at an exposed latent image part is brought into a color forming reaction, whereby the latent image part is color developed to form an image. |
