PURPOSE:To obtain a sublimation transfer material having cyan color and causing no, aggregation or deposition of coloring matter in a coating layer as the time elapses, by containing a specific coloring matter as a sublimation coloring matter. CONSTITUTION:A coloring matter shown by formula I has a high affinity with a binder resin being employed in production of a sublimation transfer material, and causes no aggregation of deposition of coloring matter even when the sublimation transfer material is stocked for a long term. A ribbon or film of capacitor paper, cellophane, polyimide resin, etc. is employed as a transfer substrate. Coloring matter ink is composed of sublimation coloring matter and binder which are dissolved or atomized in a solvent by means of a ball mill or a paint conditioner. Coloring matter ink prepared in such a manner is applied onto the transfer substrate through a bar coater, a roll coater, a knife coater, screen printing or gravure printing so as to produce a sublimation transfer material. |
