PURPOSE:To reduce the plasticity degree of rubber surely and obtain the rubber of a desired plasticity degree, by a method wherein rubber is kneaded by a kneading mixer, is passed between rolls to obtain a rubber sheet having a specified thickness or less. CONSTITUTION:Block type rubber only or rubber, mixed with chemicals such as sulfur, carbon and the like, is thrown into the chamber 2 of a kneading mixer 1 and roters 4, 5 are rotated to knead the rubber. After kneading it for a predetermined period of time, the rubber is discharged from the chamber 2 to a first roll mechanism 8. The rubber passes between rolls 6, 7 while forming a bank 44 and a rubber sheet 15 is obtained. In this case, shear kneading of the rubber is effected strongly and the plasticity degree of the rubber is reduced remarkably. Next, the rubber sheet 15 is rolled by a third roll mechanism 24 again and the rubber sheet 25, having the thickness of 3mm or less, is obtained. In this case, the plasticity of the rubber is reduced again remarkably. Subsequently, the rubber sheet 25 is sent to a fourth roll mechanism 34 to make the rubber sheet 35 of a desired thickness and a desired width, thereafter, is dried in a drier 43. |
