<p>A flooring apparatus (A) for adjusting and supporting the floor surface of a pool (1) or the like to and at an arbitrary height. The apparatus (A) consists of an elevating floor (10) having substantially the same area as that of the pool (1) or the like, elevation means for vertically moving the elevating floor (10) and means for supporting the elevating floor (10) at an arbitrary height. The elevating floor (10) is formed by arranging a plurality of rectangular prismatic floor members (11) on support frames (12) and air can be tightly packed in the hollow portion of each floor member (11). The volume of the air packed in each floor member (11) is adjusted so that the total weight of the elevating floor (10) and its buoyance in water balance with each other and the elevating floor (10) can be moved vertically even by elevation means having a small capacity.</p> |
