The patent application relates to a ladder with one string and with rungs which are fitted on two opposite sides and with one foot. The invention consists in the fact that the connection pieces between the rungs and the string are configured such that they are separated in the longitudinal direction and engage behind the lugs. A fundamental advantage is that a simple and expedient manner of fastening the rungs on the string is obtained.
