The hydrant casing parts have an outer half-groove (12) extending around the inner side with at least one exit passage (13) leading off it at a tangent. Next to the outer half-groove is an inner half-groove (11). A bar (10) is inserted into the outer half-groove. Rotation symmetrical hydrant casing parts are releasably secured one on top of the other or to the hydrant using this mechanism. The casing parts are e.g. a bell-shaped cap (4), a sleeve (6), a hydrant head (7) or a hydrant attachment (7).
