<p>The invention relates to a production system with several machining centres, a central tool-storage station, and transport equipment in the form of vehicles which can move along fixed paths and transport the tools in holders up to the machining centres. The invention consists in the fact that a vehicle (1) is equipped with a rotatable drum (4), the axis of rotation of which runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and which has tool receptacles (5) along its periphery, and with a tool-exchange device (10, 17, 18, 19, 20) which transfers tools (6, 7) from the tool receptacles (5) of the drum (4) to tool receptacles of a tool magazine of a machining centre and vice versa. In this way, it is possible to transfer tools individually to various magazines of the machining centres and to take over worn tools. <IMAGE></p> |
