PURPOSE:To guide assuredly the disk of different diameter to a driving position by providing a disk support member and a detecting part which has a selective contact with the fringe part of a disk and controlling the disk support part in a prescribed state in response to a contact between said detecting part and the fringe of the disk. CONSTITUTION:A disk 14 of a large diameter is loaded and a holder part 12 is loaded in a closing direction. Thus a slide member 24 is slided in the direction D by driving parts 202 and 202. The member 24 turns support levers 27 and 28 with the turn of rack gears 245 and 246 as well as gears 25 and 26 and then moves hook levers 29 and 30 toward D. As a result, detecting parts 321 and 331 of detection levers 32 and 33 are in touch with the fringe part of the disk 14. When the part 12 is loaded further, the center part of the disk 14 is set opposite to a turntable 22. While levers 32 and 33 are inverted by the resetting force of levers 29 and 30. When the part 12 is set at its closing position, the member 24 slides. Thus the disk 14 is loaded by a clamping mechanism. |
