PURPOSE:To prevent an abnomal action caused by incapability of controlling a microcomputer and to secure the safety thereof by forcibly stopping the supply of a fuel on the hardware side when the burner has become in controllable thereby to stop the combustion. CONSTITUTION:The automatic stopper comprises combustion part control means A for controlling a combustion part and outputting a predetermined pulse, pulse discriminating means B for outputting a stop signal when the predetermined pulse is not outputted, and fuel supply stop means C for stopping the fuel to the combustion part D. When the combustion part control means A constituted of a microcomputer falls into a fault and does not output a pulse, the pulse discriminating means B outputs a stop signal. The fuel supply means C stops to supply the fuel to the combustion part D to stop the combustion. Accordingly, when the burner has become incontrollable, the combustion is stopped, and it is possible to prevent abnomal operation due to the incapability of controlling the microcomputer and to secure the safety of the burner. |
