<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the reduction in the fidelity of coding because of the suppression of a temporary increase in the density of information quantity of a coded signal by controlling the reproducing/recording speed of digital recording. CONSTITUTION:The recording medium of a digital recorder 2 is reproduced by a digital reproducing device 3 and a coder 6 codes a reproduced signal into a signal whose information quantity density is changed timewise while being subjected to start-stop processing by a clock pulse. The coded signal is fed to a buffer recorder 9 together with a write command pulse representing the generation of the code. The buffer recorder 9 sends a storage code output to a transmission line 10 by a read command pulse from the digital transmission line 10. Moreover, the recorder 9 gives a sufficiency rate signal 13 to the speed control input of a reproducing device 3 to control the reproducing speed. A buffer memory device 15 at the reception side sends a sufficiency rate signal 22 to a digital recorder 19 to control its recording speed.</p> |
