Said machine consists of a lower, horizontal endless conveying device for supporting, at their lower edge, the upright cardboard blanks forming a supply and advancing the blanks for the purpose of individual removal at the end of the magazine and of a guide device which extends parallel to and above the length of the endless conveying device and has a pressing device which can be moved back and forth, can be activated by a refill supply and is intended for exerting a pressing force on the reverse side of the refill supply. To ensure an interruption-free operation of the removal device following the magazine, even with a relatively long cardboard blank supply in the magazine, the endless conveying device is provided extending in the region of and along the longitudinal centre of the magazine and the guide device is arranged, together with the pressing device acting on the upper edge region of the supply, above the endless conveying device, is designed so as to be vertically adjustable and is provided also extending in the region of and along the longitudinal centre of the magazine.
