摘要 PURPOSE:To enable efficient conveyance of powdery chip, by a method wherein a permanent magnet, being moved between an adsorption position and a non- adsorption position, is housed in a magnet housing body mounted to a conveying member, and a fluid injecting means is located in the chip discharge position of the magnet housing body. CONSTITUTION:Through circumferential movement of an endless conveying member 4 mounted to a machine frame, chip P such as swarf is conveyed to be discharged from the terminal of a conveyance range. In such a chip carrying conveyor, a magnet housing body 8, extending in the direction of width of a member 4 is disposed in the given position of the member 4, and a permanent magnet 13, which is held in an adsorption position where it approaches the inner wall of the housing body 8 during conveyance of chip and moves to non-adsorption position where it parts therefrom resulting from the turn-over motion of the member 4 during discharge of chip, is housed in the housing body 8. Further, a means 34 which injects fluid toward the chip adsorbing surface of the housing body 8 in synchronism with a time when the housing body 8 is moved in a chip discharge position C, is disposed in a position located opposite to the member 4.
