The invention relates mainly to the automatic receiving of parcels. The device according to the invention makes it possible to autonomously take delivery of a parcel, to measure its characteristics and possibly to identify the product. The device according to the invention delivers a receipt comprising, for example, the time and date of the delivery, the characteristics of the product, the number or the name of the deliverer, the physical characteristics of the parcel delivered and possibly reservations if these characteristics do not correspond to those expected for the object which is supposed to be delivered. The invention applies mainly to rapid distribution.
