PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of the operation of a hydraulic brake apparatus by which when a brake pedal is released on a upward slope the car can be kept standing, by attaching an accumulator to a valve that will be opened in accordance with the hydraulic pressures of two hydraulic brake systems. CONSTITUTION:To facilitate the starting of a car on an upward slope, a valve structure A comprises a valve main body 3 having first and second valves 1, 2 therein. The valve 1 has a ball 5 in a cage 4, where the ball 5 will move, when the car is on an upward slope, to the right due to its own weight to close a valve seat 6. The ball 5, when a clutch pedal is released, is kept moved away from the valve seat 6 by a rod 7 via a cable 16, a lever 12 and an eccentric cam 9a. The valve 2 has a plunger 20 and an accumulator 52 is interposed between the upstream chamber 23 of the valve 2 and the subchamber of a master cylinder 31. |
