PURPOSE:To obtain a pipe manufacturing machine, which is capable of introducing a beltlike material into a cylindrical space without surging the same, by a method wherein the title machine is provided with a plurality of pipe manufacturing rolls arranged cylindrically by possessing a predetermined spiral angle and a chain rotating synchronously an introduction roller at equal speed with a driving roller, and the beltlike material is wound round the pipe manufacturing rollers spirally by performing rolling contact of the beltlike material with each of the pipe manufacturing rollers. CONSTITUTION:A driving roller 51 is turned and driven by driving a hydraulic motor 53. Thereby, an introduction roller 60 is turned and driven also synchronously with the driving roller 51. A beltlike material held between the introduction roller 60 and the lowest side pipe manufacturing roller 30 and between the driving roller 51 and a pinch roller 52 is introduced within a cylindrical space to be formed of the whole pipe manufacturing rollers 30, 30' at a predetermined speed. An adhesive agent is applied to the inside of a fitting recessed groove of the beltlike material 90 to be introduced. The introduced beltlike material 90 is bent forcibly by performing rolling contact with each of the pipe manufacturing rollers 30, 30', and wound round at a spiral angle formed of each of the pie manufacturing rollers 30, 30'. Then side parts of the beltlike material in a widthwise direction are mated firmly to each other, the beltlike material is turned once spirally into a spiral pipe having a predetermined bore. |
