Sound attenuating wall for road side - has multiple troughs construction with vertical support rods

The wall construction includes several trough shaped e.g. concrete elements which have an L-shaped cross-section. Near each end of the elements, holes are drilled to accommodate vertical support rods. The elements (1) are stacked in chess-board fashion to form spaces (11) for filling e.g. with soil (13) for plant cultivation. The construction includes vertical bolted down support rods, embedded in the concrete foundation blocks (8). The concave cross-section of elements (3,3') improves sound attenuation.
