PURPOSE:To attain both composite copying for imprinting an optional pattern in an original and image formation only for the pattern by providing the titled device with a coordinate input means, a pattern mode setting means, a write mode setting means, and a coordinate signal converting part. CONSTITUTION:An editor 900 has a tablet 910 and keys 901-906. The tablet 910 has many resistor lines 911 arrayed in the X and Y axis directions with about 1mm intervals and a resistance value determined by the X and Y coordinates of an optional point is detected as a voltage level by depressing and shorting the optional point on the tablet 910. When codes O-N are assigned to (N+1) LED elements from the left and the LED elements C-D are turned on from the end time of a timer XA up to the end time of a timer XB, electrostatic charge in an area of a drum 2 corresponding to a slash part in a drawing is removed and no electrostatic latent image is formed in the area. A prescribed pattern is written in a photosensitive body by a similar principle. |
