INVALID QUERY DETECTING APPARATUS AND METHOD CONSIDERING INPUT SEARCH QUERY PATTERNS

An apparatus and a method for detecting an invalid query in consideration of input search query patterns are provided to prevent fundamental data required for charging from distortion to improve reliability of search advertisement. An invalid query detecting apparatus includes a query storage unit(320), a query analyzer(330), and a determination unit(340). The query storage unit stores search queries respectively corresponding units by a predetermined number. The query analyzer analyzes relevance between a currently inputted search query and previous search queries stored in the query storage unit. The determination unit determines whether the currently inputted query is determined as an invalid query for a corresponding search item according to the analysis result of the query analyzer.
