PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of self-confirmation by associating a time function with the collation of a password number. CONSTITUTION:A sound controller 12, a working RAM 13, a system program ROM 14, a main controller 17, a key controller 19, a comparator 21, an I/O controller 22, etc., are connected to a system bus 11. At least one out of a key operation time estimated from the inputting the password number through a keyboard 2 and an operation waiting time between keys is previously stored in an IC card loaded onto a terminal with the keyboard 2, by matching to the personal identification number. The stored contents are compared with the password number inputted through the keyboard 2 on the terminal, including the time function, and the individual is confirmed from the compared results. |
