A method and a device for managing points are provided to enable a user to use the accumulated points without checking the accumulated points by integrating and managing the online/offline points of the user, and providing a gift certificate or a coupon based on the integrated points. An environment setting part(300) sets up point management information corresponding to the point management information received from a client. A point checker(310) checks over whether or not the points of a user reach a predetermined target point based on point information of the user. A gift certificate generator(320) generates a gift certificate, which is provided to the client included in the point management information, when the points of the user reach the target point. A communicator(330) receives the point management information and the point information of the user from the client, and transmits the gift certificate to the client. A point exchanger(400) exchanges the points of the user into one predetermined point. The point management information includes more than one of user information, target point information, gift certificate selection information, and gift certificate reception information. |
