A quick release hitch for attachment to the arm of an excavator comprises a body (1) having a swinging plate (2) and a locking cam (3) for locking the plate in a closed position. The hitch attaches to the excavator arm by bushings (13, 14) and (40, 41). Pivot pins (60, 61) on a bucket (62) are embraced by jaws (23, 33). The cam is operated by handle (53) to open and close rear jaw (33) which cooperates with beak (42) to grasp the rear pivot pin. |
