PURPOSE:To shorten a molding cycle and to obtain a molding having a good surface condition, by pouring a molding resin in a mold wherein at least one of a male mold and a famele mold is made of a light-transmissive material and irradiating the resin with light capable of accelerating hardening of the resin. CONSTITUTION:A male mold 1 and a female mold 2 of an apparatus are made of a polycarbonate resin and FRP resectively. With the molds kept open, the surfaces of the molds are coated with a releasing agent and a sticky resin film sheet is sticked on the surface of the female mold 2 and a glass chopped strand mat is adhered thereon. Then, the male mold 1 is forwarded to close the mold and a polyester resin and a hardner are poured from a resin pouring hole 6. After the resin begins to be stored in the lower part of the cavity, an excimer-laser oscilator is operated to irradiate the resin with a laser beam by means of a reflection mirror 5 while it is successively oscillated from the lower part to the upper part of a molding material 3. After the irradiation is completed, the molding is taken out of the mold to obtain a FRP panel whose face of the reqired side is smooth and have no trace of sink mark in a short time. |
