FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: light pulses are generated at given moments in time in the area between two mirror surfaces lying opposite each other such that several virtual images form after multiple reflection of the light. After that one of the surfaces is transferred from the mirror state to the transparent state and virtual images at different distances are viewed. The distance to the formed virtual images depends on the time interval from the moment the light pulse appears until transfer of one of the mirror surfaces to the transparent state. ^ EFFECT: quality increase in level of image visualisation. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg
