摘要 PURPOSE:To use a coder and a decoder in common by sending an original signal (0, 1) as it is with a synchronizing signal at a level 0 in sending the original signal as 01, 10 and making the original signal (0,1) into alternate and non-alternate 11, 00 when the synchronizing signal is CONSTITUTION:An original signal, a clock and a CRV (synchronizing signal with long period) are inputted to a CMI coder 1 to form a CMI output, which is sent to a receiver 7 via a transmission line 3 from a transmitter 6. The CMI coder 1 outputs a biphase signal 01 (10) in response to the original signal depending on 0 or 1 and sends it without modification when the CRV signal is at 0 level. With the CRV signal at 1 level, the CMI signal of alternate or non-alternate signal 11 or 00 is obtained depending whether the original signal is at 0 or 1. The receiver 7 inputs a signal from the transmitter 6 to the CMI decoder 2 and the original signal, the clock and the CRV signal are outputted from the output. The original signal and the CRV signal are replaced in connection sections 4,5 in the transmitter 6 and the receiver 7. Thus, the coder and the decoder use the biphase and CMI code in common.
