PURPOSE:To steadily supply toner and to form an image with stable printing quality by forming an advancing wave field curtain in an endless circular course surrounding a toner storing part and a printing control part. CONSTITUTION:When three-phase alternate voltage is impressed from a three- phase AC power supply 53 to spiral and ring coils 49, 51, an advancing wave field curtain can be formed in a dielectric container 41 to be a circular course. In case of circulating toner supplied from a toner feeding port 43a into the dielectric container 41 in the container along the advancing wave field formed in the container 41 by a 1st electric field generating means, the toner is circulated so as to be dispersed in the width direction of a medium 45 to be recorded near a toner extracting port 47 and then returned to a toner storing part 43 again. When a voltage pulse 61 corresponding to an image signal is impressed to a signal electrode 55 to be a 2nd electric field generating means to change the electric field, the toner circulated in the container 41 can be selectively taken out through the toner extracting port 47. |
