PURPOSE:To execute quick restoration without causing an error by registering the procedure of a restoration beforehand to a complicated computer system. CONSTITUTION:A fault restoring system consists of an input/output device 4, a file 7 that stores a system managing table 71 and a restoration procedure table 72, a restoration procedure control section 5 contained in a memory 8 and a restoration control section 6. After the occurrence of a fault, the restoration procedure determining and control section 5 is started automatically by a program control section 3, and determines a program that becomes the object of restoration from the status of the system managing table 71 of determines control device/peripheral device that become the object of restoration, and further determines the procedure of restoration from the condition of the program and device and selects and determines the relevant procedure of restoration from the restoration procedure table. Then the restoration control section 6 is started. The restoration control section 6 executes the restoring process according to the procedure of restoration #X determined by the restoration procedure determining and control section 5. |
